Day 107

Over the past few days with the maid away Kauri has been filling in so every morning at 6 am Kauri goes downstairs to prepare her meals (can’t have grandma waiting) so I’ll go down and do the dishes. After all we are in this together.

It doesn’t bother me except it’s a thankless task Kauri does and all her mom ever does is complain, no thankyou no nothing. She and Kauri’s brother are never inconvenienced but we are.

So today will  be working non-stop till 11 AM. By the time Kauri finishes her mums meal we clean up and then cook out stuff.

Today I wanted to make something special, a deconstructed keto burger.

I had the patties, bacon, lettuce, tomato, fried egg and hollandaise sauce. It tasted incredible.

This bad boy coupled with a bullet style decaf was around 1800 calories.

After breakfast and cleaning up it was time for Kauri to prepare her mum’s lunch. She eats early, around 10:30 am. With her mum fed, Kauri can have a break for 5 minutes while I wash up. So we share a coffee and panna cotta.

I didn’t get to workout this morning so it’s time to go train.

I learnt 2 valuable lessons for next time, train fasted and train early.

I felt sluggish, not to mention training in 35˚C heat, 96 .8˚F. So I get to  workout shoulders while working on a tan …lol

Dumbbell workouts is on the menu today.

Seated dumbbell press, 4 warm up sets and 4 working sets, 10 reps

Seated side lateral raise, 4 sets  10 reps

Rear deltoid raises seated, 4 sets  12 reps

Standing front lateral raises, 4 sets 12 reps

Seated twisting dumbbell press, 2 sets heavy 6-8 reps

And standing side laterals, 3 sets 8 reps

I have poorly developed side laterals due to injuries over the years  so I’m hitting them twice in a workout.

With shoulders and tan done, it’s time for lunch.

I’m going to have a shake for lunch purely because I’m not hungry.

Mocha shake–coffee, cocoa, almond milk, protein powder and ice.

We are sitting pretty at 2600 calories.

So it’s time for Kauri  to go cook and clean for bad momma again,which gives me a chance to write my blog.

Dinner

I have pork belly, bok choi cooked in bacon fat and I’ll finish off with 2 fat  bombs. I’m 50 calories below my target but I was over by 70 yesterday so I’ll leave it at that today.
