He’s not the Messiah: he’s a very naughty boy!
So confession time. Last night I had a drink. Well, actually I had one drink then another three. My drink of choice was vodka straight on ice, shaken not stirred. (The brother-in-law brought us some back from Russia.) This was smooth and no headache today.
My Acetone levels were green with 6 flashes.
My weight is dropping back down. Today I’m lighter.
I’ve changed my calories to a surplus of 10% to gain weight.
My new macros are as follows.
What is also interesting is my weight has dropped the past 2 days on a surplus. Maybe my metabolism has sped up with the excess calories I had consumed.
My goals have not changed under 10% body fat. My weight I want to not exceed 220 pounds. (Actually come November I want to be around 7% body fat and 215-220 pound mark.)
6 eggs, 8 slices of bacon, 2 coffees and 4 tablespoons of butter (2 butters in each.)
Net carbs: 1.9
We’ve decided to spend another night so I’m taking Kauri to the gym for a shoulder workout.
Not a bad little gym. We can make do and work around the equipment they have.
Shoulder press (machine) 5 warm up sets, 4 working sets
Front lateral raises 4 sets x 12 reps
Side raises pyramid up 5 sets then last set drop set
Seated rear lateral raise 4 sets
And Shrugs (these work the trapezius muscle and can be trained when doing shoulders or back) 5 sets
I also finished off with a 30 minute walk on the treadmill on incline 15 degrees. My energy levels were great.
Chia pudding, 2 strawberries (50g) and a protein shake made with water.
2 Jalapeno popper egg cups and some hazel nuts (10 g.)
We are at 2289 calories at this stage.
Its bucketing down at the moment .. (raining hard) and I’m hungry so I’m having a salad and 150g of pork belly. A bullet style coffee and some hazelnuts.
Macros for the day are done.
Tomorrow we will definitely head back. Hopefully something to write about on the trip home.
