Day 22

It’s the Ketonix..

Yesterday I couldn’t understand why my acetone readings were so low. This morning my breath acetone did not register so blue indicated on the device. I have never had a blue reading since I had the Ketonix, so I re tested and again blue. The tech in me got Kauri to try again.. blue! knew I had  high acetone levels because I had the sweet taste in my mouth. As I said earlier when my acetone levels had been high the sweetness in my breath would intensify. So not a great start to my day but I was relieved that I was doing everything correct and still on the right track.

Today was training day.

Flat beach press 4 sets x 20 reps

Incline flyes 3 sets x 20 reps

preacher curls 4 sets x 20 reps

Decline press 4 sets x 20 reps

Bent over flyes 4 sets x 20 reps

Incline curls 3 sets x 20 reps

This is a great workout especially as we get over 40.

Use a lighter weight incorporate higher reps, not only does this give a cardiovascular workout but there is less impact on the joints. Your body will thank you and there is documented studies showing this style of training still builds muscle mass.

First meal

This morning we had pumpkin spiced waffles, with a thickened cream/protein powder filling, sausages and bullet style cocoa.

So we’d just finished our breakfast and I’m in the kitchen my backs to my wife. She approaches me and whispers in my ear, “I want to blind fold you, and spoil you.” I thought happy days. (it’s not my birthday lol.)

Today Christmas came early. (No, I’m not referring to the previous comment 😜)  Two iherb deliveries arrived today, among the goodies were chocolate flavoured stevia drops, Great Lakes porcine gelatin and magnesium. It’s fantantastic to be able to get some products that other countries take for granted.

I got to try the 2 puddings and I did do this blindfolded. I could taste the  slight difference between two chocolate puddings .. We really do taste and remake and re-taste recipes before we realease them on our page .

I had never had chia seeds before I met kauri. It’s such a great and healthy  way to get fibre into your diet. I did post a link in an earlier blog.

I actually skipped lunch today I was still full from breakfast.

Dinner tonight was roast chicken, locally made halloumi cheese and olives and I had the dairy free chia pudding.
